More About Our Team

Over 110 ISM staff work in 46 different locations across the U.S., ministering to students from 72 different nations.

Our staff want to see the Gospel moving among the millions of people represented by the family, friends, and co-workers of the international sojourners who come to the U.S. temporarily. We are trusting God for a stream of lay men and women who will return home to impact their family and relational networks—touching every facet of society and the world. We desire for our involvement with key alumni disciples to continue until they are connected to a like-minded mentor or ministry environment.

We're focusing on generational ministry, empowering and equipping alumni to spread the Good News within their own cultural contexts.

“ISM has a dedicated staff with a heart and love for the nations. It is a joy and honor to serve them by leading and resourcing ISM as a Mission of The Navigators. A part of God's plan for the nations is bringing them to the United States for study and research.

It was within a few weeks of starting to attend Texas Tech University that another student knocked on Dug’s door and ask him if he wanted to be in a Bible study. That Bible study was Dug’s introduction to The Navigators. Dug continued to be involved with them on campus, being discipled and discipling other students. After graduating and teaching school for several years, Dug joined Navigator staff and ended up at Oklahoma State for his staff training.
